Laser Welding & Assembly
Laser Welding & Assembly
Laser weld, plasma weld, EDM, and L-grinding are available for combining different mechanical properties of metal tubing into one shaft, and for end treatment.
Samples available upon request.
Our Multi layer tube, with high concentricity (more than 90%), enables the catheter to handle high pressures consistently and effectively. With the co-extrusion process, unlike welded tubing, our seamless precision tubing meets critical design tolerance. Ideal for the application requires handling high pressure evenly, such as a balloon catheter, for ensuring a tight fit between balloon and blood vessel.
Welding and End Treatment
| Laser weld: | Suitable for metal tubing components. Prevents wire fraying of the ends. |
| Step grinding: | Centerless grinding of one or both ends to accommodate hypotube assembly. |
| Square cut: | Cutting the ends through a grinding process. |
| Plasma weld: | Suitable for wire rope components. Prevents wire fraying of the ends. |
Assembly
Laser welding assembly is possible for our metal tubing components, including Torque coil, ACT ONE, Wire coil, hypotube, and other terminal component parts.
