Taka has over 12 years of international professional experience in Sales, Management, Business Development, and Engineering at Medical/Automotive/Semiconductor industries in the U.S./Japan with a mechanical engineering & business background. He is bi-lingual for English and Japanese and loves to play golf, watching sports, spend peaceful time at a beach.

David Zivkovic

VICE PRESIDENT, SALES

Based in Irvine office, CA USA.

David has over 19 years of diversified experience in Sales and Engineering and holds a BSME degree. He has extensive knowledge in coronary, peripheral, and neurovascular procedures and products. Responsible for building and leading all sales at Filmecc USA.

Jeff Gaul

Southwest Area Sr. Sales Manager

Based in Irvine office, CA USA.

Jeff has worked with the Americas (North & South) marketplace to customize Filmecc USA (Asahi Intecc USA) components for medical and industrial devices since 2004. He holds a PMP certification and is fluent in Japanese from studies at CAL and UCSD and two years in Japan. He serves the City of Redondo Beach as Chair of the Public Safety Commission. Jeff, his wife, and their daughter enjoy local charity events and travel.

James Gemlo

Midwest Area Sr. Sales Manager

Based in Minnesota, MN USA.

James has worked in healthcare his whole career life. Starting first at the hospital level and eventually moving over to the business side of healthcare. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children. In addition, he enjoys playing the Highland War Pipes.

Yohsuke Shimazaki

Yohsuke Shimazaki (Shima) has 14 years of experience working with several manufacturing and distribution companies. He is bilingual in English and Japanese and enjoys fishing, golfing, and cooking in his spare time.

Ryan Hoshino

Northwest Area Sr. Sales Manager

Ryan is based out of San Jose and covers the Northwest region. He holds a BS in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology from the University of California, Davis. His background includes over 8 years of medical device experience and has held various positions in R&D Engineering, Operations, and Marketing. He has designed delivery systems and implants in neurovascular to peripheral interventions and holds multiple patents. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and soccer.

Steve McCartin

East Area Sr. Sales Manager

Steve McCartin has extensive experience with over 35+ years in the medical device industry, in both large companies and pre-seed round startups. His background includes specialties in materials and device research, product development, program and operations management, sales, and business development. Based in the Boston area, Steve supports and partners with customers in turning innovative concepts into successful medical device solutions, and actively contributes to industry events and discussions on catheter technologies and minimally invasive therapies.
